Cinnamon Roll Recipe
I got this recipe from my grandmother (who knows where she found it…maybe a magazine or just something repeated to her from someone else). There is a great satisfaction from baking something from scratch, watching it cook and the wonderful smell that permeates throughout the house when it is baking. Happy baking!
Ingredients
1 cup water
1 package yeast
1/3 cup oil
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp salt
3 cups flour
Optional: Cream Cheese Icing
2 oz. cream cheese
4 – 5 tsp powdered sugar
Milk to loosen
Instructions

Combine above and knead – then rise about an hour. Knead again then roll out into rectangle

Spread about ¼ cup butter

Sprinkle with ½ cup brown sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon

Roll up then cut into 1 inch parts

Bake at 350° for 12 – 15 minutes until golden
