A Smile Can Be Heard

Did you know that your smile can be heard?

One way to positively affect the inflection of your voice is to smile, especially when you first answer the telephone. The reason isn't pshychological, as you may think, but rather physiological. When you smile, the soft palate at the back of your mouth raises and makes your sound waves more fluid. (It's science!)

For over 60 years, we here at Dexcomm have believed in the power of a good smile, both on and off the telephone call.

We also train our agents to use a compassionate tone of voice and understand as well as teach how tone of voice affects the outcome of telephone calls.
